Testing 1-2-3

Yep, a Barenaked Ladies reference. Have I been listening to my i-Phone too much? Probably.

I just got back from a few days in Cherokee, mostly at the casino (a Harrah's). Got lots of comps, won lots of money, and had a great (and relaxing) time. And I got to drive some of the Blue Ridge Parkway again.

This photo is a view from one of the overlooks on the Parkway. Just the right amount of clouds or fog or whatever it is, don't you think?

So this wasn't really a test, I guess -- it's the first three of my photos.

Now I'm going to try different placements for the photos.

Here's Mom at her 89th birthday party this past May.

And me on a Segway at the Biltmore Estate in April. This was more fun than anything I've done in a long long time! It seemed expensive ($65 for 2-1/2 hours) before I did it, but now I think it was an amazingly good value. This was so cool! I think my only complaint is that they don't go fast enough (just 12.5 hours max).
